My player displays “Not Authorized” on the front panel.

This indicates that one or both of the following:

  • A) The player is not currently connected to the Internet.
  • B) A mix has not been created from the Mood Mix app or control site.

Verify that the player is connected to the Internet and log into Mood Mix (either via app or web browser). After logging into Mood Mix, you should be prompted to create your first Mix. After creating your first Mix, the player should begin playback (as long as the player is successfully connecting to the Internet).

If any other issues occur, please contact Mood Client Support.

The Mood Mix app is not responding when I make changes.

  • If you have access to multiple players in the Mix control site, verify that you have the desired player selected (player information is shown in the top-right corner of the screen).
  • If you experience long delays between the times you make a change in the Mix control site and when the change takes effect, please contact Mood Client Support for assistance.

My music is not playing.

While logged into the Mood Mix app or web application:

  • Verify that the music is not paused on the Now Playing screen.
  • Verify that the volume slider is not set to zero (0) on the Now Playing screen.
  • Verify that the music has not been scheduled for silence at the current time by reviewing the schedule on the Schedules screen.
  • Verify that the device you are using to access Mood Mix meets the minimum requirements for playback.
  • If you are using a Kindle Fire or iPad, verify that the device is not set to timeout.

If you are using a Mood Mix Pro (ProFusion iS) player:

  • Verify that the device is powered on. The PWR indicator light should be illuminated green.
  • Verify that the device is scrolling the track title/artist/album on the front panel. If any error messages appear on the front panel, please contact Mood Client Support for assistance.
  • Verify that the RCA cable is securely fastened to the Zone 1/L port on the back panel of the player.
  • Verify that the other end of the RCA cable is securely fastened to the correct input port on your sound system equipment.

Verify that your sound system equipment is powered on and the volume is turned up to an appropriate level.

My messages are playing at the wrong times.

The date and time setting on the player may be incorrect. To verify this setting:

  • Press the * button to open the menu.
  • Press the down arrow button until Set Date and Time is selected, then press the * button.
  • The date and time will be displayed, and a cursor will blink behind the month setting. If any changes need to be made to these settings, use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust a setting, then press right arrow button to advance to the next setting.
  • When all necessary changes have been made, press the * button.

If messages are still playing at the incorrect times after verifying the date and time setting on the player, please contact MOOD Client Support.

How do I remove a message from my player?

If you need to prevent a particular message from playing on your receiver:

  • Press the * button to open the menu.
  • Press the down arrow button until Messaging Control is selected, then press the * button.
  • In the next menu, Message Control is selected; press the * button once more.
  • A list of available messages is now displayed. Use the up or down arrow buttons to select the desired message, then press the * button.
  • The selected message’s ON/OFF setting is now displayed.  To turn the message off, press the * button until Set Message ON is displayed.
  • Press the down arrow button until BACK is displayed, then press the * button.
  • Press the left arrow button until the main playback menu appears; you will see the current track title and artist scrolling across the screen.

To turn a message back on, repeat steps 1-5 above, then press the * button until Set Message OFF is displayed, then press the * button.
